We’re excited to announce the arrival of a groundbreaking feature in Miners Settlement – Elemental Gems! This new system brings a fresh layer of customization, allowing you to enhance your equipment and make your adventures even more powerful and strategic. Let’s dive into the details!
What Are Elemental Gems?
Elemental Gems are magical stones that can be socketed into weapons and off-hand items to boost your stats. Each gem embodies one of the six core elements:
- Fire
- Water
- Earth
- Wind
- Lightning
- Physical
By inserting it into Main Hand you will boost your damage, Off-hand defence. With gems, you can fine-tune your build to fit your preferred playstyle or take on specific challenges in the game.
How to Use Elemental Gems
Socket Your Gems
Create slots in your equipment and insert the desired gem. Note: once a gem is inserted, it cannot be removed without destroying it, so choose wisely!
Upgrade Your Gems
Combine lower-tier gems to create higher-tier ones. The system allows upgrades up to Tier 21, each tier offering significantly improved stats. For example, Fire Gems scale as follows:
How to Obtain Gems
Explore World Chests
In Mitar, new World Chests are scattered across the region. These chests always contain at least one gem. Their locations change daily, so log in regularly to find and open them.
Defeat Monsters and Bosses
The ongoing war in Mitar revolves around these precious gems. All monsters have a small chance of dropping them, while bosses offer the highest drop rates.
Participate in Events
To celebrate this feature’s launch, we’re introducing a special merging and gem-hunting event. Participate to earn extra rewards and speed up your gem journey!
Trade on the Open Market
The Open Market is now open for Tier 1–9 gems. Buy, sell, or trade gems with other players to complete your collection.
Socketing: New Slots in Items
Starting today, all newly dropped items may include gem slots based on their quality:
- Epic: 1 slot (30% chance for at least 1 slot)
- Legendary: 1-2 slots (28% chance for at least 1 slot)
- Relic: 1-3 slots (17,5% chance for at least 1 slot)
- Mythic: 1-4 slots (11% chance for at least 1 slot)
- Mythic Plus: 1-5 slots (11% chance for at least 1 slot)
You can also create slots in your existing items using gems of all six elements. The cost varies depending on the item’s quality and the slot’s level.
Infinite Progression Awaits
The Elemental Gems system is designed to be an endgame feature, providing endless opportunities for growth. And this is just the beginning! Soon, we’ll introduce Rifts, offering infinite daily progress and possibility to compete with other players!
