A brand-new adventure is coming to the world of Hobby Horse and this time, things are getting seriously frosty! ❄️🐴
In our previous devlogs, we showed you sunny arenas, colorful tracks and warm competition vibes. But now we’re taking you somewhere completely different: a huge Winter Map surrounded by frozen rivers, snowy forests, icy cliffs and glowing lanterns lighting up the night ❄️
Every map in Hobby Horse has its own unique atmosphere - from the dusty western town to the magical gnome village - and this winter location brings a completely new kind of adventure. The environment is filled with small details that give the whole place its own personality. You can discover frozen lakes, wooden bridges over icy water, snowy pine forests 🎄 glowing camp lights, and even tiny igloos hidden between the trees.
Some areas feel peaceful and relaxing, while others are built to test your precision and speed during intense races 🐴
One of our favorite spots on the map is the river valley surrounded by massive cliffs and snowy hills. At night, the moonlight reflects beautifully on the river, creating a cinematic winter atmosphere that feels completely different from every other location in the game.
Of course, no winter update would be complete without brand-new themed obstacles! This map introduces four special obstacles designed exclusively for this snowy environment:

⛄ Snowmen Slalom
❄️ Falling Snowballs
🛷 Santa’s Sleighs
We also focused heavily on the mood of the map itself. Warm lantern lights contrast with the cold blue snow, frozen waterfalls shine under the moonlight and soft snowfall creates a relaxing but competitive atmosphere that feels perfect for late-night winter tournaments
This is easily one of the most atmospheric maps we’ve created for the game so far, and we can’t wait for you to explore every snowy corner of it.
