Hey Commanders! It's been an intense few weeks at the dock, and we're bringing you one of the biggest updates yet: new missions, crew members with way more personality, snappier combat, and a lot more stability. Here's the full rundown!

New Special Missions

- "The Lost Daughter": a new mission that spans several sectors, with moral choices that shape the ending. What you decide on board matters.

- "The Lost Key": a second mission with its own narrative arc and ethical dilemmas.

- When a key character falls in combat, you'll now see a proper mission closure before the loot drops — no more stacked windows or confusion.

Faster, More Direct Combat

- Quick Fire: now you can click directly on an enemy room to aim and shoot in a single step. No more extra steps for every salvo.

- Right-click hold weapon menu: pick your weapon and release the button to fire. Super smooth for improvising tactics on the fly.

- Fire again at the same target with a single key, no need to re-aim.

- Optional auto-pause: a new setting to disable the pause that appears when combat starts. You set the pace.

Your Crew, More Alive Than Ever

- When you drag crew members, they now hang from the cursor naturally, as if you were leading them by the hand.

- Visible states: your crew now clearly shows when they're sleeping, stunned, or down. Same goes for the enemy crew.

- Melee combat animations for humans, elves, pirates, and sirens.

- New animations for sirens: walking and repairing with their own species' movements.

- Specific shooting poses for humans and elves when using weapons.

- Hover over crew members and weapons to see all their info instantly, no need to open panels.

- Rearrange your team before setting sail straight from the submarine selection screen.

Revamped Interface

- Redesigned Victory and Defeat screens: now with headlines that shift based on how the battle went.

- Redesigned Upgrade screen to match the shop's style, with smoother scrolling and color-coded descriptions to tell each upgrade type apart.

- Updated tutorial: new texts for movement and attack, lighter videos, and revised translations.

- Menus respond faster overall, no unnecessary waits.

Balance and Combat

- Fairer enemy critical damage: enemies can no longer land devastating blows that leave you with no options. Goodbye to unfair one-shots.

- Better Wave rewards: more points, more ammo, and higher chances of finding useful items.

- Shields fixed: regeneration works properly again after every fight.

- Glitch effect smoothed out so it's easier on the eyes.

- Flooded rooms: your crew now evacuates on its own.

Performance and Stability

- Fewer crashes: we reinforced several internal systems to prevent errors during combat transitions.

- General stability and visual cleanup improvements.

Localization

- We reviewed and fixed translations across all 5 languages (English, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, and Russian).

- Fixed texts that overflowed their containers — words are back where they belong.

- Language changes now reflect correctly across the entire interface instantly.

Thanks for playing and for all the feedback you keep sending us, Commanders! Every report helps the submarine sail smoother. See you in the depths.

Game update29 Sep 2026Surface Log 0.90 — ten submarines, ten ways to play 🌊Six new subs, plus the change that makes them matter: the hull you pick now decides how hard you hit, not just how much you can take. Your fleet goes from four to ten, and no two play the same. Also, if you let the story clock run all the way out, there's something waiting for you. It's not a surprise party. ⚙️ Ten submarines, ten ways to play Until now, picking a sub only changed how much you…Major update6 Jul 2026Surface Log 0.60 — the one where the enemy finally fights back 🌊The dry dock hasn't slept since the last log, and 0.60 is easily the most ambitious thing we've dragged out of it: a whole new combat system, three-story missions full of people who will die on your watch, a companion who narrates the disaster in real time, and — at last — a submarine that actually sounds like one. It's a lot. The ocean isn't going anywhere. Neither are we.
