This is an urgent update providing a fix for the video player while also giving you the first half of the 0.9 update. This was cut in 2 updates to provide a faster release and allow bug fixing to be possible for the final 0.9 update. Keep in mind this update is not "complete" and was originally intended as a 0.9 release so we appreciate any feedback.
To start things off the cinema has now opened its shop allowing players to purchase popcorn for gems. Some players have been seen throwing the popcorn and making a terrible mess just don't tell the janitor that.
Room effects now also make an appearance in Movie Night allowing the room host to toggle on or off. (im not cleaning that up)
And finally a few other notable mentions:
- Discord integration now added allowing the game to be detected with rich presence
- Gem currency is now earned by game time and saved in our backend
- Video player is now fixed allowing for video to once again play
- Video player should now also accept 480p videos again
- Networking backend improved allowing for faster game room load times, video play and player latency.
I plan to release the 2nd half of the 0.9 update within the next 2 weeks if everything goes to plan. I appreciate everyones patience while waiting for updates as i balance project work <3
