First and foremost, thank you for your continued support and invaluable feedback on Fear The Timeloop. We’ve taken the time to carefully analyze all your suggestions and have already begun implementing significant changes to enhance the gameplay experience. Here’s a detailed look at what’s coming:
- Reworked Character Controller: We are completely overhauling the character controller to deliver more realistic and immersive movement.
- Improved Combat System: The combat system is currently being rewritten and enhanced for a more engaging and fluid experience.
- Audio Fixes During Interactions: Background sounds will no longer pause when interacting with objects, ensuring a more seamless audio environment.
- Graphics and Optimization Upgrades: Both graphics and performance optimization are receiving major improvements to make the game look and run better than ever.
- Integrated Flashlight Mechanic: The flashlight will no longer be a separate item. Players will now have easier and more intuitive access without needing to hold it manually.
- Refined Dialogues: Any dialogues that do not align with the game’s overall tone will be removed or reworked to better fit the atmosphere.
While these changes bring us closer to delivering the experience you deserve, they also require additional development time. As such, we must inform you that the release of Fear the Timeloop will be postponed to the second quarter of next year.
We understand that delays can be disappointing, but we are confident that this extra time will allow us to meet the high expectations we’ve set for the game. To keep you updated, we will begin posting regular developer logs (devlogs) on both our Steam page and Discord server moving forward.
