Seeker’s Alliance: Hero’s Journey — New Heroes, New Systems, New Challenges…

Hi, Seekers!

It’s been two months since we released the very first demo of Seeker’s Alliance: Hero’s Journey. 

During this time, we’ve received enthusiastic feedback from players all over the world, and observed interesting patterns in our backend.

Today, we’re excited to share some major updates for our next demo version. (Coming soon!)

New Content:

1. New Heroes — Van der Leck Pilot, Meta Whelp, & Morgan le Fay!

2. New Skill Card Upgrade System 

   • Simply upgrade a Skill Card once to make it a Gold Card (highest rarity).

   • Choose from three upgrade paths: stats enhancement, additional effects, or changing the card type for stronger power-ups.

   • New dual-colored cards provide greater construction flexibility and tactical strategies.

   • Introducing each Faction’s unique Skill Card (Red rarity), obtainable only through gameplay and not through upgrades.

3. New Maps

   • Added two new maps, including the Meta Laboratory, an indoor area.

   • Introducing new mobs to accompany the new maps.

4. Battlefield Event System

   • During even-numbered turns in battles, there’s a chance to trigger special Battlefield Events. Winning these Battlefield Events will grant you powerful effects.

   • Each map will feature unique themed events, adding variety to battles and cohesion to maps.

5. New Mob Designs

   • Mobs now have unique looks and passive abilities to match the maps’ themes.

6. Supporting Hero System

   • After defeating a BOSS, you can recruit a Supporting Hero to your team, changing your deck composition and strategy.

Optimizations

1. Improved UI and UX for more intuitive play.

2. All BOSSES (including the High Council) now feature dedicated entrance animations.

Bug Fixes

1. Fixed display errors and placeholder issues with Skill Card upgrades in the previous demo version. 

2. Fixed placeholder mobs who behaved abnormally under certain situations.

3. Fixed UI misalignment and card art layering issues.

This latest update brings more variety, challenge, and strategic depth to battles, making our Seekers’ adventures even more immersive.
