Greetings Mubs, you're reading the latest news about Minigame Madness V0.16.4! This bi-weekly update we've polished Freefall Frenzy & created some awesome curated Condos & have a big announcement! 😮

💫 2026 Plans

The past two years of bi-weekly updates have been a crazy hectic (dare I say chaotic!?) adventure. We haven't missed a single update, and have always pushed ourselves to make each one the best it could be.

With that in mind, let's take a look back at all the updates over the past 2 years! 🤯

After all these updates, there's one highly-requested feature still missing. 🧐

Minigame Madness is at its absolute best with friends, yet only a small percentage of players actually bring friends along! This means a lot of you aren’t experiencing the game at its best. We’ve tried encouraging group play in many ways (we even asked Steam for a 4-pack discount… they said no), but ultimately there seems to be only one effective solution:

We need bots! Smart, lifelike bots that make each minigame playable whenever you want, and just as hectic and fun as playing with friends made of flesh and bone and organs. 🤖

Retrofitting bots into possibly the most varied game on Steam (from football, to trivia, to FPS, to parkour, to social deduction, and more) is easily the biggest challenge we’ve ever taken on. And training them while maintaining bi-weekly updates has made progress much slower than we would've liked.

So in 2026, we're shifting our FULL focus to bot development, and we're pausing the bi-weekly updates for now. Time to prioritize quality over quantity! ⏸️

We're not setting an exact release date on bots just yet, but whenever we have something exciting to share, you'll find it here (so make sure to hit that follow button)! 🔔

Thank you all SO much for your feedback and support over the past 2 years of updates. Pausing them for now feels a bit weird and sad, but it simply needs to be done. Exciting things are ahead! ❤️

(Oh, and if the game somehow goes viral in the meantime, we'll return sooner of course lol)

🕹️ Minigame Changes

☁️ Freefall Frenzy

We've done some visual polishing to Freefall Frenzy to bring it closer to a finished state. Among the visual improvements are: a) fog when looking at the top of the sky scraper, b) you now get closer to the skyline than ever, c) and we've added animated CRANES!!! 🏗️

🏠 Condo Changes

⭐ New Curated Condos

With the upcoming "update drought" ahead, we wanted to highlight the limitless possibilities of Condos. So we built 3 curated Condos across 3 completely different genres to show what’s possible:

All of these are available to play, explore & customize today inside your own Condo (alongside many others on the workshop). During this upcoming update drought, we may still drop a few new curated Condos from time to time! 🛠️

• Added animated cranes to Freefall Frenzy map
• Added "Movie Set" curated condo
• Added "Crate Factory" curated condo

• Added content descriptions to outfit and ensemble purchase messageboxes (like Condo purchases)
• Changed Freefall Frenzy skyscraper to be fogged at the top
• Changed Freefall Frenzy skyline to move up quicker
• Changed Hub and splashscreen update countdown to instead display "BOTS coming 2026!"
• Changed loading a Condo bookmark to spawn all players at the gate instead of keeping them were they were
• Changed error notification when trying to equip the Manipulator while visiting an unowned Condo to be more descriptive
• Changed private queuing notificiation when having friend following disabled to be clearer
• Changed furniture spawning error notifications to be clearer
• Changed bookmark textbox to not be cleared upon leaving tab
• Fixed other players in Freefall Frenzy appearing much higher than intended
• Fixed an issue where each solo-match would be stored as the solo-highscore despite not being higher than the stored score
• Fixed workshop uploading bugs when closing tab during upload
• Fixed some errors, bugs, and optimized Condo loading be faster and more efficient
• Fixed Paid to Lite to Paid conversion not immediately reinstating inventory
• Fixed certain broken outfit/Condo files causing a crash
• Fixed empty newline in empty Condo tooltips
• Fixed Condo tutorials showing up while visiting a Condo despite not being able to finish it
• Fixed Condo Picture Frames clipping through the wall when shutter is closed
• Fixed Condo Picture Frames not displaying screenshots on visitors' screens
• Fixed Condo not going into non-visit state after buying said Condo while visiting
• Fixed furniture being able to be spawned inside unowned Condos
