The long requested key bind re-mapping is here! In addition to that, some additional QOL improvements have been made, like additional filters for the server browser, Puck Dedicated Server for Windows, the ability to host a server directly from the game client and more bug fixes!

Here is the full changelog:

  • Added key bind re-mapping which allows:
    - CONTINUOUS & TOGGLE modes for instant actions
    - PRESS, RELEASE, DOUBLE PRESS & HOLD modes for continuous actions
  • Added RESET TO DEFAULT button in settings
  • Added full server, empty server and maximum ping filters to server browser
  • Added additional SELF HOSTED tab to the New Server menu which allows to host servers directly on client's machine
    - Puck will attempt to automatically forward the needed ports with uPnP, though it might not be successful on some routers or internet providers
  • Added all available admin commands in `/help`
  • Added Puck Dedicated Server Windows build which allows any Windows machine to launch a dedicated Puck server directly from Steam
  • Fixed server browser list jitter when refreshing the server list
  • Fixed server ping being invisible when a server is hovered in the server browser
  • Fixed security issue where uPnP ports would be forwarded by Puck even in Practice sessions
  • Fixed server connection validation for self hosted servers (players would be able to connect if banned, if server is full, etc.)

Good luck and have fun!
