We thought that it's been some time since we last spoke with each other. There’s been a few things happening on our end and we thought it would be nice to keep you in the loop on what’s coming next, especially when it comes to Killsquad’s updates.
First of all, we want to thank you for being patient and thanks for keeping on reporting all the bugs and crashes that are popping up in Killsquad. To be fully transparent with you, here's why it's been some time since the last game update.
Right now we are working on improving the PC version of Killsquad and on the PlayStation version too. One of the features that we want to implement is cross-platform play. Now, here is the trick when it comes to cross-platform. Both versions of the game, the one on PC and PlayStation have to be pretty much exactly the same. If not, there is a big chance that the cross-platform will not work, and more errors will pop up. To minimise this, and to have the two platform versions as close to each other as possible, we decided to delay any PC updates until Killsquad comes out on PlayStation. I know some of you might be disappointed by this decision, but hear us out.
We are now working on both the improved PC version and the PlayStation version of Killsquad at the same time. We're not the biggest of teams out there, but we are pouring everything into the game. Trust us, the issues and bugs that you've been reporting to us have been taken into consideration - both on PC and PlayStation. We also want the cross-play functionality to be as smooth as possible. And the only way we can ensure that happens is by releasing the same version of Killsquad on both platforms at once.
We hope that you feel our plan makes sense and we will be keeping you in the loop on how we are progressing. As soon as we have a release timeline, we will let you know! We do go through each one and we try to fix as many of those issues as we can. Give us just a bit more time. An improved version of Killsquad is coming.
