Hello! my name is Carlos Coronado, solo dev of Horror Tales The Beggar. Today is release day, so I am going to keep it short!
1) if you want to know more about the super high 40% discount, click here. ELI5, Personal stuff + I want everyone to enjoy the beggar and it won't be discounted as deep for at least a year.
2) The Beggar is the sequel of Horror Tales The Wine. If you really like to deep into lore, playing the first one (on sale now!) is highly recommended! On the other hand, playing the wine is not mandatory at all to fully enjoy The Beggar.
3) Duration is around 4h-5h. No filler. It is a experience designed to last in your eyes from start to finish. No DLC's or paid content are planed. You pay and you get the whole cake. No microtransactions, f2p predatory practices or similar dodgy stuff.
4) If you have feedback, I always listen and implement the feedback and bug fixing you tell me in the Steam Discussions. There is no need to post a negative review to grab my attention. As you can see with the Demo, I am kick fixing the feedback and I always listen. Bad reviews hurt my future project (a Half-Like) a lot, but I of course won't judge you if you post one!
