Hi all, Tom here.
First off, let me say upfront that most of you probably won't see the change in this update. But for those of you who are playing with a DualShock 4 or DualSense controller, this update is pretty important.
While pushing the Unity Vulnerability update I noticed that Microsoft in their infinite wisdom had broken a lot of functionality with PlayStation controllers in Windows 11 in a recently update. So if you've noticed your controller not showing the correct icons since then, that could be why.
Upfall uses a common library called Rewired to detect and interact with console controllers and I spent ages before launch adding functionality for the most common ones. There are icons for Xbox, PS4, PS5, and individual Joycon controllers, controller vibration for certain in game actions, and my favourite: the light bar colour for Playstation controller changes as you play!
Anyway, long story short: it wasn't just me who noticed this, and Rewired got an update this week to fix what Microsoft seemingly broke. Hopefully that means PlayStation controller icons (PS4/PS5) should work again, rumble should be back, and the light bar will update to follow the 'hazard' colour of the game - even when the colours are cross fading. Please excuse the shaky cam, this was a right faff to film:

Nice! It really irked me that it had stopped working... Lookout for Version 1.21 in the credits menu!
One last thing: if you've tried the game and enjoyed it, a review would be really lovely! We're only 7 reviews away from the coveted 50 boundary for 'Very Positive' which will give the game a bit of a visibility bump too. You don't need to write much, and it'd really help out. Thanks in advance!
