Greetings, mighty FantasyCrafters! To celebrate the Holiday season, we are bringing you this Christmas update/event to add more festivity into your game and charge you up with the mood of the upcoming celebrations. We truly love and eagerly await this time of year and we hope many of you do too.

The world of Magisterium has been touched by winter's magic! Dive into new festive quests, discover unique holiday items to craft, and explore your home blanketed in snow for the very first time. This special winter event will warm your heart until the end of January 2026 - plenty of time to enjoy the season!

Christmas stuff:

A line of winter quests of The Winter Solstice Spirit awaits! Begin your journey by finding the alchemist druid Efelzaal, who has been searching for a capable adventurer to aid him in his mystical seasonal work.

Deck your halls with festive cheer! Our Christmas update brings a sleigh-full of new craftable items to adorn your home and fill your yard with holiday magic. Get ready to craft, decorate, and celebrate.

New Festive Crafting Items:

·       Sweet Treats: Christmas Cookies, Candy Cane, Mulled Wine

·       Winter Figures & Flora: Snowman, Fir Tree Seeds, Fir Tree, Christmas Tree

·       Glowing Decorations: Christmas Candle, Christmas Lights, Christmas Decorations (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow)

·       Classic Ornaments: Christmas Wreath, Christmas Stocking (Green, Red, Blue)

·       Sparkling Finale: Fireworks

·       New kind of fuel: Merlinder Powder made from Merlinder crystals.

NOTICE FOR NEW ADVENTURERS: Successful progression in "The Winter Solstice Spirit" with Gloria is contingent upon completing her prerequisite quest, "Don't Jump in at the Deep End." This step is mandatory because the solstice ritual involves Merlinder Crystals and their usage is taught exclusively within that earlier task.

ABSOLUTE WARNING: Under no circumstances craft and activate 10 Christmas trees simultaneously. The developer is not responsible for any consequences.

This festive update also brings practical gifts for better organization and automation - perfect for setting up your workshop for the new year.

New Machines & Signs:

1)      Blueprint: Sulfur Miner – Place it on sulfur deposits in the Damned Place for a steady, automated supply.

2)      Blueprint: Quartz Miner – Automate your quartz gathering by deploying this machine on a deposit within the Ruins (near the Warg's habitat).

3)      Writable Signs – Organize your storage and territories with new standing and hanging signs in small, medium, and large sizes.

Blueprints of a Sulfur Miner and a Quartz Miner can be found in the Elefin’s Ruined Castle (just climb the winding stairs to learn the blueprints).

A few quality-of-life improvements:

1)      Skinning can now be canceled. This is useful if you are attacked from behind by a beast while skinning your prey. You can now cancel the skinning action by pressing E or ESC.

2)      Detailed trader information. For every trader in the village, we have added detailed descriptions for blueprints and items. Now, before purchasing a blueprint or item, you can see:

·       The required components.

·       Its characteristics (stats for armor, weapons, tools).

·       For consumables: their decay timer and what they restore (food, water, health, etc.).

·       This will help you plan which blueprints and workbenches you need for crafting.

3)      Increased hitbox for poisonous snakes to make it easier to hit them with arrows.

4)      Rusty short and long swords can now be sold to Maximilian.

5)      The simple clothes you begin the game with can now be sold to Gloria.

6)      Removed the glow effect from land plot signs.

7)      Added a "Take All" button. Press E to loot all items from a container at once.

8)      And to help newcomers navigate the village more easily during quests, we've improved the very first quest from Uncle Henry. We've added a new objective to buy a map from Maximilian on the market. This map will serve as a reliable guide, ensuring you never get lost and can always check where a particular villager lives when completing the quests.

Bugs fixed:

1) Localization Corrections: Addressed several text and translation issues.

2) Toggle Sprint Functionality: Fixed a bug affecting the toggle-to-run feature. Now you only need to press Shift once to enter sprint mode, then simply hold W to run — no need to hold both W and Shift. Make sure the "Toggle Sprint" option is unchecked in your settings for this to work correctly.

3) Fixed various other minor bugs.

We would like to wish you merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

May your Christmas be filled with love, joy and the warmth of family and friends.

Thank you for playing our game!

And thank you for your positive reviews! Your support truly inspires us to keep developing the game.
