Quick update on Bluetooth Audio and Haptics: progress is going great, and the feature is getting close to release. It’s still in development, but we’ll be moving from closed beta to open beta soon, with no time limit.
Access to Bluetooth Audio and Haptics will be included with the Virtual DualSense DLC from now on, so you’ll need the DLC to use any of the Audio/Haptics modes wirelessly. The DLC will get rebranded to DSX+ to offer more than just a virtual DualSense. Please visit the DLC page to learn more.
We’re also starting closed beta testing for the virtual DualSense with audio device integration. That will begin with a small group of users and expand gradually.

DSX is getting another UI update boost that will make using it much easier and simpler to use. There were polls done in the discord server and you guys spoke!
First we got rid of the second page navigation to edit a profile, and now all navigation buttons are visible and clickable, one less click! We've also reorganized them.
Profile selection, and virtual device selection were moved to the top of the pages for profile editing.
Notifications page has been removed, and relocated to My Controller Page. Notification settings are now part of device settings instead of per profile. You can find it in My Controller Page -> General Settings -> Notifications.
DualSense Edge Profile System page has also been removed and profile adjustments have been relocated to My Controller Page.
Controller Mappings Page has been fully reimagined with a new layout to make profile adjustments easier, faster, and clearer. Button selections on the controller view can now be fully cleared instead of clearing one by one. The controller view itself is now much bigger to make selections easier.
My Controller Page has also been reimagined with a new layout that makes it easier to make and view adjustments.
Many parts of the UI were updated throughout the app for a cleaner and modern look.
Updated tutorial to better explain what each navigation page does.
DSX now offers a 4 week (28 days) offline period instead of the default 2 week period before needing an internet connection again for ownership checks as part of the new DSX+ DLC rebrand. Please visit the DLC page for more info.
We’ve added a backup server to help users in regions with access restrictions, such as Russia, connect without needing a VPN.
Profiles no longer rely on their internal path of where they are located on disk, which has led to improvements in importing profiles, and DSX being smart in cleaning up the profiles directory.
The last active profile being worked on now loads up instead of the first one in the list.
Controller View Skin now includes a DualSense Edge Midnight Black edition
Controller View no longer resets to a white DualSense when disconnecting all controllers.
Fixed Motion Acceleration mode not working properly
Fixed certain Input Extended Touchpad events not working, while also improving performance of gesture detections
Fixed HidHide Page bug showing driver not installed if Let DSX Control driver was disabled
Fixed an issue where the app would crash due to Desktop Composition being disabled usually by games going into fullscreen or games manually turning it off which DSX relies on for it's UI system.
Fixed Installed Games profile not activating when DSX starts up, fixed another issue where if reset to previous profile is active and DSX/Controller is disconnected, it will revert the controller to previous profile automatically for next start up

Open Steam and navigate to Settings
Select Controller from the left menu.
Click Uninstall Xbox Extended Feature Support Driver
