We are getting ready for the first content update since the game’s release. This update will be a content patch positioned between our major planned updates. After this release, we will shift our full focus to the upcoming “Gülcemal Update.”
With this patch, we added several features we felt were missing from the game and also incorporated many of your bug reports and suggestions. We would like to share some of these additions and show what we have been working on so far.
The carnival has arrived in Blackreef. Many different games and surprise rewards await you. You can also chat with the townsfolk and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
A glimpse of Blackreef Island’s good old days!
Ever since you obtained the Necronomicon, strange distortions have started appearing around town. The book reveals them. Symbols are emerging in certain parts of the island, but what do they mean?
Is there a hidden room beneath your shop?
What lies inside, and why have you never seen it before?
Whispers call you in from behind the door. When you enter, you are shocked by what you discover.
Was your father not as innocent as you believed? Why did he do all this?
An urgent fax arrives at your desk. When you accept it, a burning ship docks at your yard. You must extinguish the flames and repair the vessel as quickly as possible. Time is limited; if you’re too slow, the ship will sink!
Based on your feedback and some enhancements we wanted to implement ourselves, we’ve made the following changes:
Repaired broken sections of the pier
Added a new customer type with time limited requests
Added new characters
Improved controller support
Fixed various issues related to several ship types
Improvements about day and night cycle
Bug fixing about fainting while swimmings
8 new achievements
New letters about the story
You will be able to experience all of this and much more, when the update goes live on November 30.
We hope you enjoy the new content. Please continue to send us your feedback and suggestions.
We will keep building Sunken Engine together with you.
