Today's header highlights a run by community member Wilson, he's sporting the Hesh'a'din Sun-Master character paired with Raider class dragon Snite.

We've been working on bugs and quality of life improvements in this latest path, he's a look:

New & Improved

  • Item Descriptions in the Inventory Screen

    • Now when you mouse over an item in your inventory, a new box above the inventory slots will give you some info about what the item is what what it does. This will help identify things in your inventory. We may expand this to add more information in the future.

  • Some aerial balancing

    • The Finnik Sharponose flyers would tear into you as you fly across Aval, so we've reduced their rate of fire and hit-points, making them a bit more manageable. We'll continue to make improvements to enemies as we go.

  • More Direction & Better UI Flow

    • We’ve improved audio cues to make mission objectives easier to follow, and we’ll continue refining this based on community feedback. For example, in the Citadel mission, Avrawn will now clearly say “Use your amulet on the console” when you reach the shield towers.

    • We’ve also added an Equip option to the cache. This sends you directly to the Prepare menu, where you can drag weapons and items into your inventory. Many players found it unclear how to move items out of the cache, so this update should make equipping gear far more intuitive.

    • Lastly, we improved the UI in the forge so you can clearly see which character can equip a given weapon, and what level is required to use/equip a given item.

  • New Fate card art

    • We’ve updated the art for the Wash Ashore and Captive Mission Fate cards. Our card pipeline uses in-game screenshots with paint-overs, and these two cards needed a refresh to better reflect the current missions and mutators.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed mods and charms not showing up in the Prepare Menu.

  • Fixed the windmill generating disabled cards.

  • Fixed Abilities resetting in the Prepare Menu.

  • Fixed Warrior XP not being granted when extracting as a Dragon.

  • Added Equip from the Cache

  • Forge will now show Level requirements and which character can equip an item

  • Fixed Blink Slice not working for the Corrupt Assassin Skin.

  • Added item descriptions while hovering over them in the Inventory.

  • Fixed some baseline bugs in "old wounds" mission and re-enabled it.

  • Various small crashes and bug fixes

Planned Updates / Ideas

  • Turbo Bug Crushing Mode Activated

We’ve been tackling major issues and overall playability improvements, and now we’re shifting focus to multiplayer. Our goal is to squash the remaining MP bugs so you can enjoy the game with friends in a smooth, stable, and bug free way.
