We hope you’re enjoying the relentless bug-slaying action on Sparta! But the fight is far from over. A new galactic front has opened, and General Rico needs every able soldier to help secure the ship.
Now, you might be wondering… what’s on the horizon for our final update of the year in December?
Well, allow me to shed some light on this very subject, shall I?
With Update 1.8, we’re introducing a brand-new Company Progression system! Your Company will now be able to level up through 50+ tiers, unlocking unique emblems and frames to proudly display your Federation identity.
Players will also be able to unlock additional Company slots, allowing your unit to expand its ranks and bring even more Troopers into the fight. You’ll continue to earn Intel at the end of every match, which contributes to your Company’s leveling progress every mission counts toward your companies' strength!
We can’t wait to see the creative combinations of frames and icons Troopers will mix and match to show their flair on the Company Leaderboards.
You might remember me mentioning a surprise during our last livestream, well, here it is!
Prepare for a new Critical Strike map set in the frozen wastelands of Boreas. Bundle up, Troopers… it’s going to get cold out there.
Wait there’s more! We’re introducing a brand-new side objective for ARC and AAS missions: Air Strikes!
Troopers will need to defend Fleet Relays out in the field to call in TAC Fighters for devastating bombing runs on the Bug hordes. The more Bugs you obliterate, the closer the federation is to winning the war against the Bug:
Update 1.8 will also include a host of legacy bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements, and a server optimization pass to ensure a smoother experience across the board.
