Hello travelers! We frequently get requests for forested locations, so we've recently spent some R&D time to make it possible! Foliage like trees and bushes can be notoriously difficult for standalone VR to render performantly, but we've made some breakthroughs to enable us to bring this next location to your headset today:
New Location: Lake Tahoe
We’ve added a beautiful spot overlooking the **North Shore of Lake Tahoe** in the California Sierra Nevada called Carnelian Overlook. Featuring a stunning panoramic view of one of the deepest lakes in America, surrounded by rugged mountain ridges and the rich hues of Carnelian Bay. On a technical note, this scene renders more than **700 thousand plants and over 8000 trees** to enable this beautiful view(!!) - so sit back, relax, and enjoy the sight (and don't forget to visit Night Mode!)
