We’ve just returned from an incredible experience at CIFTIS 2025 — the China International Fair for Trade in Services — one of the world’s largest service trade exhibitions, held September 10–14 at the stunning Shougang Park in Beijing, co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Beijing Municipal Government.
Our CTO, Eric Mergy, also serving as AI advisor for smart cities, was honored to deliver a keynote in plenary session at the “New Tech Scenarios, Activating New Consumption” forum. The talk focused on how gaming is becoming more than entertainment — it’s evolving into a bridge for cultural exchange, digital tourism, and technological innovation.
Our President and CEO, Dr. Jianglin Zhang, also serving as the President of the Data Center of Ministry of Culture and Tourism, International Tourism Data Joint Laboratory, was invited by the Ministry of Commerce of China as a VIP guest of honor in the front row.
Games as Culture
Eric emphasized that modern games are no longer just play. They’re a global digital stage combining storytelling, interactivity, art, and cutting-edge tech. Games now serve as new cultural carriers, connecting communities worldwide with the power of immersion and interactivity.

During the keynote, we introduced LEGEND BATTLES, our next-generation hyper-realistic free-to-play battle royale. Built with Unreal Engine 5.6 and powered by AWS GameLift, it features:
· A 400 km² mountainous desert battlefield.
· Thousands of fully explorable buildings (yes, interiors and rooftops!).
· Dynamic weather systems, advanced vehicles, and interchangeable clothing systems.
· AI-driven metahuman locomotion and tactical shooter mechanics.
· Cloud computing and real-time network communication for massive-scale battles.
This is not just a multiplayer shooter. Our vision is to turn LEGEND BATTLES into a digital ecosystem platform that integrates cultural and tourism resources — bringing the richness of world culture and beyond into a global gaming arena.
