Update 1.0.43 – Save Fixes & Visual Improvements

Howdy, gunslingers.

This update focuses on cleaning up a small save-system issue and delivering a round of visual polish across Deadrock and the surrounding frontier.

🛠️ Save System Fix

We addressed a formatting issue that caused save file details to display incorrectly in the Save/Load menu.

What was happening:

Some save slots showed misaligned text

Playtime formatting appeared inconsistent

Location names occasionally overlapped UI elements
What’s fixed in 1.0.43:

Corrected text formatting and alignment in all save slots

Standardized playtime display formatting

Improved clarity of location and timestamp information

Cleaned up minor UI spacing inconsistencies
All existing save files remain fully compatible — no data loss.

🎨 Visual Improvements

We’ve also taken this opportunity to improve the overall presentation of the game world:

Subtle lighting refinements in interiors (saloon, church, ranch homes)

Improved shadow softness in outdoor environments

Enhanced color grading during sunset and nighttime scenes

Minor material adjustments to reduce overly reflective surfaces

Small polish pass on character skin tones and cloth shaders
These updates aim to make Deadrock feel more immersive without impacting performance.

🔎 Minor Stability Improvements

General UI optimization

Minor backend cleanup for smoother save-state transitions
As always, thank you for continuing to explore the frontier with us. Your feedback helps shape every update, and we’re committed to refining Deadrock Redemption 2 with every patch.

More improvements are on the way.

Stay sharp out there. 🌵
