I just fixed a pretty serious bug that I hadn't detected. Variable updates were being ignored when running the visual novel on the editor side. That's fixed now.
I also fixed the deletion of character appearances.
if an appearance was deleted but the change wasn't saved, it caused an anomaly because the file was physically deleted but the change wasn't recorded.
