Hello everyone!  Astra Bestiary joins Steam Next Fest with a major demo update, shaped by player feedback and beta testing and focused on making the early game smoother, clearer, and more engaging from the start.

For anybody that tried the game early on, the difficulty curve have been refined, making the first part of the game more enjoyable. The world has also expanded with a new town accessible from the Mirror Desert, more beasts with branching evolution paths, and character customization to better shape your journey. Alongside this, you can expect cleaner menus and multiple bug fixes. 

If you played an earlier version, this update is worth another look. If you are new, Steam Next Fest is the perfect time to jump in.

Patch Notes v0.5.0.1

New Stuff

  • New, branching evolution paths allow you to get a more options for your team.

  • Character customization added (for old saves you will be prompted to either create the character or use the old default).

  • New Town: Luram.

Improvements:

  • Camp scene now includes speed toggles and hotkeys for fast repeating actions or fast rest.

  • Onboarding reworked.

  • difficulty curve improved.

  • Several graphics and backgrounds reworked.

  • First trial access fixed.

  • Improved performance.

  • Improved menu navigation.

Other:

  • Bug = squashed.

  • Game stability = improved.
