A new update has been released (188mb) which offers more improvements and fixes.

Added more variation to houses when exploring

The main world is now a little brighter and you can see a little more with no light
Fixed some random geometry issues
Fixed glowing Sold out a sign outside the Gas station
Removed "Pause" key - following issues unpausing
Fixed pickups not working in House of Evil
Added Pause to ingame menu
The increased stack size of potions, painkillers, etc in inventory
Fixed crystal of haste not able to collect
