Hello, creators. Thank you for using TUAN: Scriptum.
Today, TUAN: Scriptum receives its v1.0.1 update — 15 bug fixes and UX improvements in total. We're sincerely grateful for all the feedback you've shared.
Interface & Operations | 8
Fixed sidebar drag-and-drop ordering — manually arranged file order is now correctly remembered
Added invisible drag boundaries between pinned and unpinned sections to prevent files from crossing between the two zones
Improved the Options (≡) menu close behavior — clicking outside the menu now dismisses it
Added double-click to rename files directly in the sidebar, without opening the Options (≡) menu
Added a keyboard shortcut for deletion when the Options (≡) menu is open: press Delete to directly remove the corresponding file, volume, or chapter
Improved search navigation — pressing Enter repeatedly now steps through results in sequence for smoother continuous searching
Updated the Welcome Guide text to remove references to global search, which is no longer available there (global search is accessible via the File Library), keeping the documentation accurate
Added a Welcome Guide window that appears automatically on first launch, introducing the core interface and basic operations; a "Show Welcome Guide Again" button has also been added in Settings
Outline | 2
Improved entry drag-and-drop logic — child entries can now be moved directly across parent levels without needing to promote or demote them first
Improved entry name display — long names are now truncated automatically, with the full name visible on hover
Serials | 3
Improved default chapter naming behavior — remaining default chapter names no longer auto-renumber after a chapter is deleted
Added an in-content chapter sidebar, allowing chapter navigation directly from within the editor without returning to the chapter page
Added ↑↓ buttons for volume reordering, making it easier to adjust the sequence of entire volumes
Cloud & Data | 2
Fixed the data storage path to align with the Steam Cloud sync path, ensuring cloud data is correctly received on fresh installations (Note: Steam Cloud only syncs file additions and modifications. Deleting files will not sync across devices; to remove a file on another device, please do so manually.)
Updated the folder migration mechanism — users upgrading from a previous version will have their data automatically moved to the new path, with no manual steps required
May TUAN: Scriptum be a steady foundation on your creative journey — giving your ideas the space to flow freely.
Until next time :)
