What kind of game is it?

The year is 2026.

Having just finished editing a long-running series, an editor receives a strange request. He travels deep into the mountains to a remote Western-style manor, where the client awaits. But the moment a mosquito draws his blood, he falls unconscious — only to awaken inside the pages of a manuscript.

A story that continues to write itself beyond its end...

You are now trapped within it.

Explore a narrative that unfolds across two dimensions — the manuscript’s 2D world drawn on ruled paper, and the 3D-rendered manor that exists outside it. Your mission: bring this thousand-year tale to its true conclusion.

Chronoscript is built on the foundations of a traditional 2D action-platformer, with responsive controls and carefully crafted combat. As you progress, you’ll gain dynamic traversal abilities — like moving through flowing ink — and unlock unique skills that expand both combat and exploration.

Powerful foes block your path — beings who left lingering regrets in the world of the living and have returned as “what remains.” Each boss you defeat reveals their story and their connection to this twisted manuscript.

Every background, character, and enemy is hand-drawn in pen-and-ink, then brought to life through carefully crafted animations. The result is a uniquely haunting and textured visual experience.
