Since its initial Early Access release on Steam on February 14, 2024, STARNAUT has evolved
through roughly 30 updates shaped by player feedback. Now, as part of the larger mythos
connected to El Shaddai, we are pleased to announce that the full release is ready for launch on
April 28—coinciding with the 14th Anniversary of El Shaddai!
Major Changes in the Full Release
Throughout Early Access, we’ve greatly expanded and refined the game by actively incorporating
feedback from the player community. Here are some new additions players can experience in the
full release of the game:
- Stages: 18 → 60
- Weapon Types: 25 → 49
- Helmet Types: 12 → 22+
- Enemy Types: 100 → 400+
- Lost Data (Added Content): Over 200 new Lost Data have been added.
- Story Chapters: 11 → 53
What is Mythical Concept STARNAUT?
Mythical Concept STARNAUT is a survivor-style action game with roguelike elements. Set in a
multidimensional universe, players must battle through relentless waves of enemies, upgrade
their weapons and equipment, and launch rockets to clear each stage.
Set within the same mythological framework as El Shaddai, the game invites players to uncover
its connected narrative and rich world interwoven with the El Shaddai mythos. Each playthrough
takes roughly 30 minutes, offering a variety of different ways to build your character and evolving
strategies that keep the gameplay experience fresh and rewarding.
