As Ironwood Studios heads towards it's second year of Pacific Drive - we want to take a moment to reflect on our first year and look forward to what’s next.
A year ago, Ironwood Studios released it’s first game! After 5 years of development it’s hard to believe, however our work on Pacific Drive hasn’t stopped. Since launch we’ve released three major content updates, twenty patches, and countless bug fixes. The game has sold over a million copies across multiple platforms and we’re completely blown away by the reception to our surreal survival-driving adventure.
We’ve taken home awards like PC Gamer’s Survival Game of The Year, the Indie Game Awards Best Music, and we’ve been longlisted for 4 BAFTA’s. We’ve been featured in countless articles and lists for being one of the best games of 2024 - but truly, our proudest accomplishment are the stories told by our players. Who knew you’d all fall so in love with a weird, wood-paneled, station wagon?
As a brand new studio made up of developers with a broad variety of backgrounds, achieving this level of success with our first game is beyond our wildest dreams. We can’t thank you all enough for your passion and appreciation.
With that being said - we should talk briefly about what’s coming next. We announced late last year that we’d be collaborating with Atomic Monster on a Pacific Drive television adaptation, which is incredibly exciting! Additionally, development also continues on the game and we’re happy to share that we’re currently hard at work on the largest update for Pacific Drive yet. While that’s all we can say for now, we’re excited to share even more in the future.

This booklet is in-universe content that was previously only available in our extremely limited press kits for the game.
