This holiday season, PEAK.53 is getting a festive makeover! Each map now includes a hidden Christmas tree to bring some holiday cheer. Grenades have been replaced with snowballs, adding a frosty twist to your gameplay. On snow maps, you’ll find hidden snowmen that play cheerful holiday music when discovered, and grenade explosions now come with a fun snow effect. The main menu and game screens have also been updated with a festive holiday theme to get you into the spirit. Additionally, we’ve launched a special holiday edition of the BRECKENRIDGE map for you to explore.
We’re excited to announce the addition of rocket launchers, which are now ready for testing in this update!
Several important fixes and improvements have been implemented as well. The issue causing pistols to fire backward has been resolved, and we’ve fixed the scope and zoom issues that had been causing players trouble (though additional testing on servers is still required). Camera positions have also been updated to replicate SOCOM’s nostalgic style, bringing a classic feel to your gameplay.
