For a small indie team like us, it was a challenge, but one we knew we had to take on. From day one, Rogue Piñatas was built around the joy of shared chaos, and limiting that to just one platform never sat right with us. Bringing the game to SteamVR not only opens the door to a whole new community of VR players, but also honors the fans who’ve supported us from the early demo to the awaited release! What has changed?
Since our original launch on the Meta platform, Rogue Piñatas has grown in both depth and polish. We’ve taken community feedback to heart, refining enemy intelligence, tweaking weaponry physics, improving performance, and introducing quality-of-life upgrades across the board. For the SteamVR release, we’ve gone even further, implementing full cross-platform multiplayer, so whether you’re playing on a Meta Quest or a Valve Index, you can squad up with friends seamlessly.
