2026 New Character Poll

Marvel Puzzle Quest · published 26 Mar 2026, 17:38 UTC

All newsPlayers around this dateRead on Steam

One of the things that makes the MARVEL Puzzle Quest community so special is how much players love celebrating the wild and wonderful corners of Marvel together. Over the years, the annual New Character Poll has helped spotlight all kinds of unique picks and MPQ itself has never been afraid to embrace this with characters like Aunt May and Doop already making the game’s roster feel unlike anything else out there. As we head into 2026, we’re excited to bring back one of our community traditions and once again let players help shape the future of MPQ in our 2026 New Character Poll!

Until Friday March 27th, help us decide which of these unique Marvel characters you’d like to see join MARVEL Puzzle Quest as a new 4-Star character! The winning character will be determined using a ranked-choice system, so be sure to use all 3 of your votes because every pick helps your favorites climb the leaderboard. Players can submit their vote here: https://mpq.social/26ncp

Not sure who to vote for? Take a look at the candidates below!

Ayo (Dora Milaje)
Ayo is one of Wakanda’s fiercest warriors, a skilled Dora Milaje fighter trained to defend her nation and its royal family with unmatched discipline and precision. Whether she’s charging into battle with a spear in hand or standing firm as Wakanda’s shield, Ayo brings elite combat prowess and unwavering loyalty to every fight.

With Okoye already holding the line in MARVEL Puzzle Quest, Ayo would be a perfect companion piece as another legendary Dora Milaje warrior who reflects Wakanda’s strength, honor, and battlefield mastery from a different perspective.

Brainstorm (Valeria Richards)
Valeria Richards is one of the brightest minds in the Marvel Universe, a super-genius whose intellect rivals even the most brilliant members of her family. Under the name Brainstorm, she combines impossible ideas, cutting-edge inventions, and cool confidence well beyond her years making her a perfect candidate for a puzzle game where strategy rules the board.

Cap-Wolf (Steve Rogers)
Steve Rogers has faced plenty of strange transformations over the years, but Cap-Wolf remains one of his wildest. This lupine version of Captain America combines the Sentinel of Liberty’s courage and leadership with feral claws, fangs, and a truly unhinged amount of werewolf energy. Patriotism, but make it hairy.

Crescent & Io (Dan Bi)
Dan Bi is a young hero who transforms into Crescent by wearing a mystical mask linked to Io, a powerful bear spirit. Together, Crescent & Io form a magical duo that balances youthful bravery with enormous spiritual strength, making them a standout choice for players who want a character with heart, style, and a very large spectral bear. Longshot (Mojoverse)

Longshot is the rebel star of the Mojoverse, a genetically engineered freedom fighter blessed with uncanny luck and acrobatic skill. With his dazzling stunts, improbable escapes, and refusal to stay down, Longshot feels built for big combo turns and chaotic momentum swings in MARVEL Puzzle Quest.

Man-Thing (Swamp Walker)
Once scientist Ted Sallis, Man-Thing became a mysterious swamp-dwelling creature born from science, magic, and tragedy. A haunting guardian of the supernatural side of the Marvel Universe, Man-Thing is equal parts monster, protector, and walking nightmare fuel.

Mojo (Mojo Master)
Mojo is the grotesque, power-hungry tyrant of the Mojoverse, obsessed with spectacle, control, and turning everything into entertainment. As a manipulator who thrives on chaos and attention, Mojo would be a wonderfully ridiculous addition to MARVEL Puzzle Quest especially with a rival list of characters ready to put an end to his latest twisted production.

Namora (Atlantean Royalty)
Namora is an Atlantean powerhouse with superhuman strength, undersea abilities, and deep ties to Marvel’s oceanic legacy. A cousin of Namor and a formidable hero in her own right, Namora brings regal presence and raw force wherever she appears. For anyone looking to add more undersea might to the roster, she’s a top-tier contender.

Omega Sentinel (Karima Shapandar)
Karima Shapandar, better known as Omega Sentinel, is a human-Sentinel hybrid armed with advanced technology and a complex history tied to the X-Men. With cybernetic upgrades, devastating built-in weaponry, and a perspective shaped by both humanity and machine logic, Omega Sentinel could make for a slick, high-tech addition to the game.

Punisher (War Machine)
When Frank Castle got his hands on War Machine armor, his one-man war on crime went brutally high-tech. The result was Punisher at his most heavily armed: bigger weapons, bigger targets, and zero interest in subtlety. If you want a candidate who screams destructive firepower, this is your walking tank.

As a reminder, voting closes on Friday, March 27th, so be sure to make your voice heard and cast your votes before time runs out. Each of this year’s candidates brings their own distinct style, personality, and potential gameplay flavor to Marvel Puzzle Quest, and soon the community will decide which one of these unique Marvel characters could make their way into MPQ later this year. Head over to https://mpq.social/26ncp and get your votes in!
