ALRIGHT! I GET IT. PEOPLE HATE TRAPSDOORS! (Yes, I know they're not Pit traps, but I had a very bad 'joke' I wanted to use and I was going to use it, regardless. You are not the boss of me.)
Jeez.

Um... what can I do about that?
Uh, I could just get rid of them completely? No. That would be giving in to the howling throng. I'm never doing that. No.
Hmm.

What about, I make Perception ridiculously powerful as a tool for spotting traps?

And what if I make discovered trapdoors so ridiculously visible you could see them from space (if there wasn't a vast dust-cloud and a selection of creepy moons blocking the view)?

Oh! I could reduce the amount of trapdoors rather than removing them completely?

Or, I could do none of these and post a completely empty patch! AHAHAHAHAHA.
No. That would be too cruel and... stupid. Yes. Stupid. Dumber than a box full of dead frogs... or whatever the common parlance is for stupid boxes of things. Hammers? I don't know. Where was I?

Oh, yes. I could also do ALL OF THE ABOVE instead. Ahahahaha! That'll teach them! YES! AHAHAHAHAHA!

Game update20 Aug 2026Build 0.0.958, V 1.0.11We had an issue where piercing attacks leading to death could cause a system-wide malfunction, leading to a blue-screen and blah blah blah. I isolated the problem, and the fix was trivial. Shouldn't give us any more problems from here. It's... 22:13, GMT. There are no comms from the pod, and no lights to trace its path by. The lumoscite chunks we picked up on the last ball of rock are now in tr…Game update15 Dec 2025Build 956, Version 1.0.9Endgame crash fixed It's come to my attention that some people did not care for the extended patch notes. It's a minority, and people primarily make comments on sites like this when they don't like things, so my assumption is that the majority do like them. That said, I shall be keeping these patch notes brief and unremarkable. See above. That's what this patch does. Move along. Nothing to see…Community20 Nov 2025Moonring DX now on available on Nintendo SwitchHi folks, No weird patch notes this time. Just a rather simple announcement. After 6 years of development, 2 years of improvement, and countless hours of making sure the game doesn't fall over or inconvenience anyone to an embarrassing degree, Moonring is now on Nintendo Switch. You there... you have a question? Is it the same game as the current PC/Steamdeck build? Yes. But with the DLC availa…
