The Shroomlings is now available on Steam for both Mac and Windows. You can conveniently play at any time through Steam.
We’re now distributing unique Steam keys to a select group of trusted beta testers. With each update, we plan to gradually expand our testing group.
We’ve introduced a new, intuitive UI that offers three match options:
• Singleplayer – Battle against computer opponents in five difficulty levels.
• Multiplayer (Friends) – Host a game to play with friends. You also can give your friends an economic advantage to balance the game if they’re not on your level yet.
• Multiplayer (Online) – Use the matchmaking system to connect with a random player. Every other week, our servers will be available for several hours.
• All fighter Shroomlings now feature unique models and animations.
• Camera view and "see-through effect by hovering" is improved for easier growing behind large structures.
• Unique particle effects and projectiles for all fighter shroomlings and fighter structures.
• Housing Space
You must now build Shelters and Huts to provide enough housing space for your Shroomling units.
• Most fighter units have slower movement speed and shorter attack range, but they also cost less.
• Thunder Wizard: Increased attack damage but reduced AoE radius.
• Monorock: Faster attack speed but lower attack damage and reduced field of view.
• Rammling: No longer attacks roots and nests.
• All fighter structures have reduced attack range but deal more damage.
• Mycelus Turret: Faster attack speed but lower attack damage.
• Mycelus Tower: Now deals only single-target damage but has higher attack damage; also costs more spores.
• Keratin Tower: Now deals AoE damage.
• Mother Shroomling: Reduced attack range at all tiers, but gains AoE damage at Tier 3.
• Hunter: Generates higher income but descaling occurs faster.
• Foragers: Now generate less income.
• Farm: Scales more slowly and has a slightly lower capacity.
• Mother Shroomling: Generates less income.
• Hut: Now available at Tier 1 (previously Tier 2).
