This is the Aeruta development team!
We come to you today with some very exciting news from the Taipei Game Show!
As we had previously announced, we had the honor of being selected this year as a finalist in the “Best Visual Art” category for the Indie Game Award. And it’s with great pleasure we come to you with the news that we were selected as the WINNERS of the category!!
We were honored to receive kind remarks from the judges praising Aeruta for its “appealing art style reminiscent of Japanese animation” and “striking character designs” that created a “sense of joy for those playing the game.”
Some Fromdawn team members were present at the ceremony to take pictures and document the exciting occasion!
Development team member Angela (Photo left) commented:
“We are extremely honored to receive the Best Visual Art Award for our debut work. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our team members who have persevered together, unafraid of the many difficulties we have faced, and to all our players who have always sent us their warm support. Your presence has given us the strength to keep moving forward.”
This being Aeruta’s very first major award, we were truly honored to be present for the occasion, and even receive a physical trophy!
We wanted to do something special to celebrate this occasion, so we are currently running a Follow & Repost campaign on X (Japan only) until February 11th, 2026 23:59 (JST). We will be distributing special IndieFreaks collaboration pins to 10 lucky winners!
