The Ghost and The Phoenix Demo · published

Hey Everyone!
I have been carefully tuning and refining The Ghost and The Phoenix demo based on your feedback and my ongoing work toward launch. I am excited to roll out a new update that enhances the feel, flow, and firepower of the game! I wouldn't call this a major content overhaul, but if you’ve played the demo before, you’ll definitely notice the improvements. If you haven’t yet, now’s the perfect time to jump in!
Increased weapon variety
Increased amount of equipable weapons.
Increased the amount of offensive relics.
Enhanced Enemy Waves
Added new levels and biomes.
Adjusted pacing and variety.
Added varying modes for more player choice during mission reward selections.
Added more enemy types.
Polished UI
Cleaned up and refined for clarity and immersion.
Phasing out placeholder images.
Updated Controls Rebinding menu based on feedback.
Added FPS selections to the Settings menu.
Tighter Game Feel
Movement, animation transitions, and overall responsiveness have been improved for a smoother, more satisfying experience.
Bug Fixes & Load Times
Issues with weapon upgrades not carrying over have been addressed.
Overall load times have been decreased.
Additional visual cues to skip through load screen story elements have been added.
Fixed issues with quitting and loading a different save file after an initial saved game was loaded.
Increased speed of saving and loading data.
Fixed issues with V-Sync not loading or saving properly.
Music & SFX
Various background tracks have been updated with loop points rather than just repeating the track.
SFX for enemies have been updated due to potential accessibility issues and for greater immersion.
Localization
All text-based elements should reflect the correct language.
There are almost too many updates to list, but these updates are just a part of an ongoing effort to deliver a game that feels as good as it looks, and I'm always listening.
