UTRS 1.0.2 patch notes

Hey Runners, new patch dropping today bringing some very cool and asked for features to the game. We’ve done a good overhaul of all settings menus, QoL and bugfixes. Note that all of these changes will also be included in the Poki version, except Online Settings, the CTF beta mode and its related changes. New Animated Emotes System :

Say hello to the new and improved emote wheel, with 8 different animated emotes (synchronized online). All skins share the following emotes :

Warm up
Point
Wave
Like
Laugh
Salute
Drama
Sit

Settings Overhaul :

This new addition was asked a lot and it is there ! Here’s an overview of what was added :

Video Settings

Customisable graphic settings are here ! Presets come with different level of customisation, but you’re free to mix and match things as you see fit

Online Settings

Choose the server you want to play from ! Selecting AUTO will detect the nearest one to your location and connect to it.

And if you want to play with your friends, enter your own instance ID and share the code around !

Keybinds Settings

Completely remappable keybinds.

We at Dedra are aware that giving you ways to express emotions are in contradiction with Z-corp’s rules, but we won’t tell if you don’t.

Workshop Showcase :

Now in the main hub, you can find a special place where certain selected levels from the Steam workshop will be featured. This level pack will rotate over time as more levels are created by the community, so everyone can get a taste of what it’s like to create, and play your own Trials.

Misc./Bugfixes :

Added a limit to power-up extension (now works once)
The Depths and Tutorial are now skippable if already cleared
Fixed some moving platform breaking animations
Minor changes to main hub
Game is now properly synced between steam version and web version (so you’ll be able to see which platform people are playing on, and web players will also see your steam-exclusive skins.
Platform username display and steam username fixed
New soundtrack in CTF beta mode
Added a couple props to the level editor
Added a flag icon to the CTF portal
