About Celesta’s Eyes – An Important Clarification
Yes, Celesta’s eyes are ruby, not purple. I’ve seen the comments and theories — and to be clear: no AI was involved, it was entirely my mistake 😫
The artists did everything perfectly. I, looking at the ruby eyes, confidently wrote “purple” in the text — without checking, just went with what felt right. Apparently, my color perception failed me. The art team did everything flawlessly. The mistake is completely on me 😭
Deckbuilding is IN
This is a major change, so let’s get straight to the point: full deckbuilding is a core mechanic, available from day one and accompanying you throughout the entire game.
Want to play aggressively? Build a deck for it. Prefer defensive control? No problem. Love weird combo decks that barely work but feel amazing when they finally click? We’re happy to support your risky (and maybe questionable) choices 😏
This was the most requested feature, and it truly deserved to be in the game from day one. Now it is 💪🏻
Team Changes and Release Timeline
Before we get to the good news, I want to be honest: some team members have left. No drama, just life as it happens. But for a small studio, every departure is a noticeable loss, and quickly filling those gaps isn’t easy.
Because of this, the release has been delayed. We’d rather take extra time and do things properly than ship a half-finished product. We’re still here and working on Succubless — it just needs a little more time 🙏🏻
New Demo Coming in April
Mark your calendars: we’re planning to release the updated demo on April 1st. Yes, we know what day that is — and we’re doing it anyway.
Improved writing, full deckbuilding, and all the other enhancements we’ve been working on — it’s all included 🔥
