This Update features an update to the Morale Trend Display and a few fixes to correctly distribute Gold at the end of a game. We also want to tell you about some future plans for the stormtroopers.
Stormtrooper
The Stormtrooper is a powerful unit that breaks through fortresses and other units with a high attack stat. While they are fulfilling their role, they are currently too dominant. After listening to a lot of your feedback we have landed on a few changes that should place the stormtroopers more in line with other units strength wise.
When the Stormtroopers initially released we talked about making them free to unlock down the road. While more methods to get them out to many players are still in the oven, there will be an operation soon where you’ll be able to unlock the stormtroopers for free for the first time. It will not be a walk in the park though so be ready to fight for it.
You can expect more on this and the balance changes soon.
Updated Morale Trend Display
The Morale Trend Display can be a bit misleading. The morale trend now includes a number that indicates how much morale will be gained/lost on day change.
Gold distribution fixes
We changed the way gold is distributed after a ranked match. Rewards were previously given based on the victory points of each player/coalition. In some cases this would lead to solo players placing first and receiving the reward for 2nd place. Gold reward distribution is now based on the final rank on the leader board and not the victory points, resolving this issue.
