We released a new update for Scale the Depths Demo (Version 2.0.0) for the upcoming STEAM Next Fest. 🎉
Look forward to a refreshed look and feel, along with a few surprises underwater! Just in case you want to go back to demo version 1.4.0, we have included a beta branch for it. (1.4.0 and older saves won't be compatible with this new demo)
Chinese Localization Available - You can change your language from the settings.
UI Visuals Refreshed - UI overall has been enhanced with new visuals, including the boat HUD and Settings. ✨
Reworked Save System - Your inventory, collectibles, and cosmetics will now be saved.
Cosmetics System - Take a sneak peek at the new cosmetics system that will be available in the full game. We have included some fun hats in the demo to play around with. 🎩
Discard All Fish - Added a button to allow you to clear your fishing inventory with the click of a button.
Knife Movement QOL - Improved knife movement overall. You can also now move to the left without scaling the fish. 🔪
Setting Menu Expanded - New settings are available, including language, display, and gameplay options.
Improved Fish AI - All fish are now able to do calculus. 🤓
Fixed customers hanging around even though they are fully satisfied. 😌
The scaling scene loads faster now.
