Legend Battles opens officially on Saturday, January 17th (9:00 AM in Beijing, 2:00 AM in Paris) – Friday, January 16th (8:00 PM in New York) in Early Access.
In Legend Battles Early Access and for a small monthly fee, you get access to all of Legend Battles' cosmetic items, including all the contents of in-game store, battle passes, battle bundles, and battle sets. Moreover, all the cosmetic items you got with the Early Access app will be available in your inventory with the final release app.
Beyond just getting the game itself for free, downloading a game in Early Access like LEGEND BATTLES on Steam, offers several specific benefits to you.
Here are the main "points" for you to use the Steam app:
1. Influence the Game's Future (Early Access Perk)
When you download an Early Access game, you aren't just a player; you’re a tester. You get a direct line to the developers via the Steam Community Hub. Your feedback on bugs, weapon balancing, or map features can actually change the final version of the game.
2. Automatic Updates & Stability
Steam handles all the "boring" stuff. Instead of hunting for patches on a website, Steam automatically updates the game in the background. This is crucial for Early Access titles which often push out daily or weekly fixes.
3. Earn "Steam Points" & Customization
Every time you spend money on Steam (or contribute to the community), you earn Steam Points. You can use these in the Points Shop to get:
Animated avatars and frames.
Profile backgrounds.
Special "Legend Battles" chat stickers (we plan to develop them later).
4. Community & Social Features
Guides & Walkthroughs: Access player-made guides directly through the Steam Overlay (Shift+Tab) while you’re playing.
Achievements: Track your progress and show off your "Legendary" status on your profile.
Steam Workshop: If the game supports it, this is where you’ll find easy-to-install mods or custom skins.
5. Secure Ownership & Cloud Saves
If you get a new PC or play on a Steam Deck (or the new 2026 Steam Machine), your progress is saved in the cloud. You won't lose your gear or level progress in Legend Battles just because you switched devices.
6. Refund Protection
Steam has a solid refund policy. If you download Legend Battles and realize your PC can't handle the Unreal Engine 5.6 graphics, you can usually get a refund as long as you've played for less than 2 hours and owned it for less than 14 days.
