It's been a while. Autumn is here in the blink of an eye. How have you been?
This is Keke from Perfect Day Studio, the Lead Artist of A Perfect Day and the Producer & Lead Artist of Insomnia: Theater in the Head.
For a long time, we've been quietly working on ideas for a new game. Now, we're finally ready to share this exciting news with all our gamers: Our third game, We, Junk Artists, is now live on Steam!
This is the second game I've led as a producer. From September 25 to October 8, a free playtest will be available on Steam. We hope you could give it a try. Your support will mean a lot to us.
We've been wondering how to introduce We, Junk Artists. To us, it's a game that defies simple labels. After much thought, we've settled on this: A "collage-and-guess" multiplayer game for up to 6 players, where anyone can enjoy the fun of creation.
We hope it feels more fulfilling than A Perfect Day, and more heartwarming than Insomnia: Theater in the Head. Yet, the studio's philosophy has remained unchanged—to care about the inner worlds of ordinary people, and forge connections through our games.
Turning a rolling pin into Pinocchio's long nose, mineral water bottles into Dumbo's ears, and an old wooden comb into a steed's mane...
In this game, you become a junk artist who collages ordinary items into wildly imaginative artworks. The controls are simple: drag, rotate, scale, flip... Whether you can read each other's minds and instantly get each other's wild creations, that's the real test of chemistry.
This game is inspired by a simple idea: to create a community for wild creations where there is no judgment or competition, only the freedom to unleash imagination, appreciate and cheer on one another.
We believe the desire to create exists within everyone as a small, warm spark; our goal is to fan it into a blazing fire.
We're eager to hear your feedback to help refine We, Junk Artists. We sincerely invite you to join the playtest and share your insights on how to improve the game via our Playtest Feedback Survey.
If you encounter any bugs while playing, please report them via our Bug Report Form. We'll work quickly to fix them.
