During a routine audit, it was found that applicants have manipulated their scores before submission to our central leaderboard. While the final score is valid, associated data such as playtime have values determined to be impossible, indicating a system hack.*
As you know, the engineers who handled score validation have been reassigned to tech support. As their replacement, we expect you to remedy this vulnerability by the end of your current work cycle.
*Fraudulent entries won't be removed provided the final score remains valid. We don't wish to alarm shareholders over what amounts to a harmless prank. However we have orders to liquidate any applicants who take things further. Report discrepancies to your supervisor immediately.
