Hello and Happy New Year all!
Unfortunately, this update is taking longer than I expected, and my target of having it finished by the end of the year clearly didn't happen! Things have been pretty slow going since I'm back to working on my main project CULTIC full-time, and I only really have time to work on Bonerooms in my free time. That, and the update keeps growing as I keep adding new stuff!
This update was originally only going to have the Defibrillator as a new item, and some cosmetics for the Supporter DLC, but at this point, it's going to feature the following:
- New Item: Defibrillator
- New Item: Skeleton Mask
- New Item:
- New Enemy: Boomba
- A small selection of hat cosmetics (Supporter DLC)
- Customizable suit colors (Supporter DLC)
- A small selection of player emotes (Supporter DLC)
- Updated music design / soundtrack
Just a reminder that the Supporter DLC will be *FREE* to anyone who purchased Bonerooms, and only exists as an optional way to support me after the game switches to be Free with this update.
I'm also trying to see if I can get it so that joining matches-in-progress is possible, which should *greatly* improve server visibility as you won't be limited to seeing servers that are in lobby, which are always going to be very few. Dunno how complicated this will be, but sometimes I get pleasantly surprised with how simple netcode tasks, so lets hope this is one of those times!
I'm hoping it won't be too much longer to get this update finished! At the moment, I only have one more item to add and then the join-in-progress thing, then testing.
