Optimization system rework

The optimization panel got a complete overhaul. Existing nodes are stronger, costs are higher, and there are four new nodes that create real build choices.

Buffed Existing Nodes

  • Cache Priming now gives a permanent +15% production bonus on top of the 60s burst
  • Overclocking no longer penalizes tier 8+ hardware. Max stacks raised from 50 to 75
  • Bulk Efficiency discount improved to 20% for x10+ buys and 25% for MAX buys. Single-buy penalty reduced from 5% to 3%
  • Memory Leak Patch ramps faster (0.75%/min instead of 0.5%) and caps at 40% instead of 30%
  • Coolant Cycle now reduces heat throttling by 75% and slows overclock stack decay by 50%
  • Recursive Optimization exponent raised from 1.5 to 1.6

New Nodes

  • Frequency Scaling (25 NW) => production scales with your lifetime FLOPS. Gets stronger the further you go
  • Idle Protocol (18 NW) => 1.5x production when you haven't clicked for 30 seconds. Conflicts with Overclocking, so you have to pick a playstyle
  • Neural Recycler (35 NW) => each prestige refunds 5% of the total NW you've spent on nodes. Partially offsets the permanent cost over time
  • Prestige Momentum (40 NW) => production boost that scales with your prestige count, up to 2x at 100 prestiges

Cost Increases

All node costs have been raised to reflect their stronger effects. Total NW to unlock everything is now 278 (up from 108). The decisions should feel weightier, but every node is worth its price at the point you can afford it.

Compatibility

Existing saves work without issues. Nodes you've already unlocked stay unlocked. New nodes appear as locked and ready to purchase.
