Dev Update – April 2026

Hi everyone 🌿

During our previous demo, we received a lot of feedback and suggestions from you all — including many ideas for new flowers and systems you’d like to see. Thank you, seriously.

We’re currently planning to open the demo again in late April, and we’re really looking forward to hearing even more of your thoughts.

In the meantime, we’ve been busy improving existing features, refining controls, and working on new systems.

Here’s a quick look at what’s changed in the garden over the past month:

🌱 What’s New

New Soil Types & New Flowers

We’ve added new soil types, along with flowers that grow specifically in them! You can now switch between different flower pots with different soil at any time.

We also heard from many players that they wanted to grow more plants at once. Originally, we tried expanding the garden space — but… it turns out our flowers are a bit too big and a bit too lively. Too many of them together can feel overwhelming (and maybe a little distracting while you’re working). So instead of going wide, we decided to keep the “small pot in the corner” approach, while allowing you to freely switch between different soil pots. Flowers in inactive pots will still grow — just a little more slowly.

Different soils also mean different plants and challenges. For example, jungle plants need more water, while desert plants are more drought-tolerant but grow more slowly.

Snail Upgrades & New Abilities

Our little snail now has progression!

You can spend coins to upgrade its abilities — like watering more efficiently or moving faster. We’ve also added new functions such as replanting and checking plant quality.

We’re hoping it can become a more helpful companion when you need it.

System-Wide Balancing Adjustments

We’ve made overall adjustments to growth rates, water consumption, watering efficiency, and related systems to improve the overall gameplay flow.

✨ Other Improvements

Alongside the bigger changes, we’ve also made a number of smaller improvements:

  • Save system updated — one save file now covers all flower pots. No more switching saves just to manage different setups.

  • Added minimize & background mode (you know why 👀)

  • Added unique BGM and sound effects for different environments, along with overall audio improvements

  • Updated flower visuals — reduced heavy outlines to make them feel more lively and cute

🌼 What’s Next

Here are some of the things we’re currently working on:

Expanded Weather System

Beyond the little sun, we’re planning to add clouds, rainbows, and other weather options — each bringing small bonuses to your garden.

Decoration System

Many of you mentioned wanting to display your favorite or rare flowers on your desktop.

We’re working on a system that lets you freely place and showcase flowers outside of pots — so they can stay with you while you work or relax.

More Feedback, More Iteration

We’ll continue listening closely and exploring what else we can do to make growing your garden feel even better.

That’s all for this update!

Wishing you a smooth and relaxing holiday 🌿
