Hello friends!
The past three weeks have been very busy for me. First, I had a short trip, and after coming back I had to move into a new office. I also decided to do a bit of cosmetic renovation there to make the workspace more comfortable and pleasant, which took me a few extra days, and then the move itself dragged on longer than I expected.
From the new stuff — I brought my PC from Russia and upgraded my GPU to a 5090 (a forced measure, since my old 3080Ti cards apparently reached their limit and started producing bugs). Only yesterday I was finally able to properly start working, and I immediately faced my first surprise: it turns out DAZ doesn’t support the new 50-series architecture, so I had to switch to the alpha version of DAZ 6.25. Honestly, this feels scary, because I’ve always been skeptical about new DAZ builds due to their numerous bugs. Anyway, today I’m planning to actively dive into scene creation, so I hope the updated DAZ won’t throw any nasty surprises at me.
Unfortunately, there’s also some bad news: another one of my long-time and talented artists burned out and went on an indefinite break. In fact, at the moment I’m the only active artist left. Because of that, it’s hard for me to give any timeline predictions for the next update — we still need to create two hot scenes, and for now I just want to focus on making them.
