v0.9 released in a few days

v0.9 will be released for everyone this Thursday, March 13th.

It's the biggest update of the game and unfortunately, this version will not be able to read older save files. To enjoy all the new items, levels and events, you'll have to start a new planet. I'm very sorry about this, but we really had no choice - there are far too many changes everywhere, especially in the level progression.

But if you wish, you'll still be able to continue playing your current save by activating the "v0.8.4" branch in the Steam properties of the game ("Betas" > "Select the beta (...)" > "v0.8.4 (...)" option).

You can also activate the "beta" branch right now to enjoy the v0.9, as it's now finished (almost - we still have some Info page to write, mostly).
I'll write another news article on Thrusday with the list of all the improvements and changes, I just wanted to warn you of this incompatibility - which should be the only one ever.

And as with previous major updates, there will be a 20% discount for this release, before the price is increased to $16, the final price for the v1.0 release.

It mainly fixes a serious issue we had missed: clouds were no longer slowed down by mountains. This update restores the intended behavior: clouds now produce much more rain when passing over mountains (so they lose their water and disappear faster). Please note: some areas “behind” mountains, depending on the wind direction, may turn back into desert.
