Hey everyone, quick focus on one of the Warrior subclasses: the Wild Tracker.
We wanted this class to be pretty hybrid - you can play it in full aggro mode or go way more sneaky. It's kind of a savage who takes inspiration from how animals work. The main idea is that a wolf and a bear don't have the same hunting strategies, and it's the same here for your build.
The Wild Tracker isn't just some guy who hits things in melee. There's a whole mystical side with nature spirits that can boost you temporarily.
The Poison Angle: This is a big part of the class. You can really lean into damage over time to whittle down enemies.
Damage Mitigation: Unlike other warriors, forget the shield here. Everything's about dodges and heavy debuffs so mobs don't even touch you anymore.
Temporary Buffs: You're connected to spirits, so you can take their power. We've got specific spells like Thunder Strike, Beast Power, or Spirit of the Guul.
Synergies: You can also throw out mage-centric stuff like soul bombs or will-o'-the-wisps for crowd control.
You can pick your path. If you want to go full in with buffs, you can, but you can also play with debuffs and poison to be more "subtle". Adapting your build is key.
Out of the three melee classes, each has a different damage mitigation strategy: for Wild Tracker it's more dodge/enemy debuffs, for Art of Combat it's block/parry/defense, and for Unleash Hate it's no mitigation but life recovery by dealing damage.
