Driving Rogue Demo – New Update Live!

We’ve just pushed a fresh update to the Driving Rogue Demo, focused on improving gameplay feel, polishing systems, and fixing several issues across the board. Stay up to date with the latest updates and join our community on Discord! Here’s everything new:

Gameplay

Added

  • Vehicles now react to steering with suspension sway, adding more weight and realism.

Updated

  • Adjusted grade score requirements.

  • Removed the time threshold for stopping drift when using the handbrake.

  • Holding the handbrake after a drift now forces braking.

  • Handbrake now always stops drifting immediately on press.

  • Near miss system rebalanced:

    • Range reduced by 15%

    • Score reduced by 30%

  • Updated:

    • Shiny alteration gain

    • Required score for the first stage

    • Various boss challenge parameters

    • Vehicle damage tuning

  • "Drift Healing Coilovers" now heal every 4 seconds.

Fixed

  • Fixed the handbrake being triggered when pressing Space to resume from pause.

  • Fixed the issue where the cursor disappeared after quitting the tutorial via the pause menu.

Art

Updated

  • Improved and fixed various road sections.

VFX

Added

  • New score VFX:

    • Combo success/failure

    • Points gain

    • Multiplier gain

Added tire-related score VFX

Updated

Upgrade VFX are automatically applied to your car as you purchase upgrades, visually reflecting your build progression.

There are four types of upgrade VFX:

  • Exhaust Bangs — Engine Mods

  • Underglow — Body Mods

  • Light Trails — Electronic Mods

  • Front Wheel Effects — Suspension Mods

Each effect scales with the rarity and number of mods you own in that category — the better your build, the more intense and stylish the visuals. Upgrade your stats and bring that 2000’s tuner vibe to life!

Core

Added

  • Added "Change Camera" as a remappable action in the settings menu.

Updated

  • Frame rate is now automatically limited to your display refresh rate for smoother performance.

  • Improved main menu vehicle physics, making them consistent across different frame rates.

Audio

Added

  • Added: "Acid Pro Max"

  • Added "Victory Road" (voiceless version)

Updated

Reduced "Change Song" SFX duration to 0.65s.

UI

Fixed

  • Fixed card shop slot glitches (empty slots shifting and incorrect reroll animation).

  • Fixed incorrect score requirement display at race start during modified boss challenges.

If you encounter any bugs or issues while playing, please report them in our Discord server. Your reports help us track down problems faster and improve the game for everyone.
