Work on future updates is ongoing, and we’re happy to present the final update of the year. This patch continues the chain of planned improvements introduced in Update 0.2.0 and focuses on stability, polish, and improved environmental readability.

Crash Report Handling

  • Optimized fire and smoke particle effects that could potentially cause GPU crashes.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed monster AI noise reactions triggered by distracting items falling (tin can, plastic bottle, glass bottle).

  • Fixed the placement of several levitating objects near the crash site.

  • Fixed intersecting objects in the Pumping Station basement.

Level Design Improvements

  • Improved visual highlighting of save stations on the Antenna.

  • Added additional color-coded route markers on the Antenna.

  • Added color markers and extended the canopy on Guard Tower #2.

  • Expanded route markings leading to the Pumping Station entrance from the Communications Center.

  • Added markings and highlights to valves related to the Pumping Station puzzle.

  • Added clear path markings from the Pumping Station basement entrance to the final valves.

Quality of Life Improvements

  • Added one extra quad bike to the Communications Center courtyard in solo mode, in case the player travels to the Antenna using a quad.

  • Changed inventory behavior when dropping the currently held item: if no item of the same type is available, an item from the beginning of the inventory is now selected instead of the end.

  • Changed inventory behavior when picking up items: picking up an item from the Tool category now forces it to be equipped in hand, making the crash site quest chain easier to complete.

  • Added a small stash of essential loot at the Pumping Station for players returning to the location after death.

  • Added an audio cue to the signal flare gun when attempting to fire it while unloaded.

  • Added audio feedback to the Pumping Station puzzle when checking pipe configurations with an incorrect setup.

  • Increased the range and volume of mine warning beeps.

  • Increased the volume of audio signals in the Sinusoid puzzle at the Communications Center.

This update is another step toward a more stable, readable, and immersive experience. And this is just the beginning - even more global updates, systemic improvements, and new content are already in development. Thank you for playing, for your feedback, and for supporting the game as it continues to grow.
