In preparation for the upcoming Steam Next Fest, we've rolled out a new version of our game demo. This update brings comprehensive polish and optimization to the gameplay experience, along with exciting new content—all to make your adventures in the dream world more immersive, smooth, and full of surprises.
Tutorial Area Fully Upgraded
We heard your feedback about the steep learning curve, so we completely rebuilt the starting experience. We've constructed an entirely new tutorial area. The revamped tutorial adopts a more intuitive, guided approach that seamlessly integrates with environmental storytelling. Through hands-on practice, you'll naturally master basic controls, core combat techniques, and key abilities for interacting with the environment.
Badge System Renewal
We've significantly expanded the badge system, allowing you to unlock more slots by collecting items and combine a richer variety of badge effects.
✔ Equipment Slot Expansion: You can now unlock additional badge slots by discovering hidden items throughout the map.
✔ Enhanced Badge Effects: Badges are no longer just stat boosts—they can now unlock diverse effects, including equipping extra items, granting unique action abilities, and more.
Flexibly adjusting your badge combinations based on enemy characteristics, companion abilities, and level challenges will be key to overcoming obstacles and delving deeper into exploration.
Parkour Area Debut
We've carved out dedicated parkour areas within the dream world. Here, you'll face continuous platform jumping, precise timing challenges, and interconnected action sequences. Collapsing beams, swaying ruins, and fleeting footholds—every step demands your full concentration. Successfully traversing these areas not only yields generous rewards but also serves as the ultimate test of your skills.
Avian Monster Dimension Arrives
Hold your pillow tight and prepare for aerial assaults! These flying enemies, each with distinct forms and behaviors, will bring an entirely different combat experience. Swift and skilled at diving attacks, they'll test both your reflexes and strategy.
Ambient Creatures Added
The corners of the dream world are filled with tiny lives and strange sights. We've added many non-hostile ambient creatures—beneath fractured beams and beside abandoned pottery, you'll spot small critters scurrying about. Most are harmless, yet unsettling enough to keep you on edge.
Character and Scene Audio Expanded
Character actions and environmental interactions now feature richer, more fitting audio details. Scene ambience has been expanded and optimized, with each area possessing its own unique soundscape—including the surging tides washing over ruined beaches, the low whisper of wind through broken walls, and more. Combined with the music, these elements weave together a more immersive and oppressive dream atmosphere.
