And suddenly it's the end of December, even though yesterday was still January ... It's true, the year 2025 is actually almost over. Crazy, isn't it? But it definitely was an exciting year!
We had already been working on Causal Loop for several years before we were finally able to officially announce it in the spring live on stage at GameStar's 'Find Your Next Game' showcase at CAGGTUS in Leipzig.
And since then, not only has the game evolved, but many great things have happened: Causal Loop was playable at gamescom in Cologne, and the feedback was both great and helpful. After that, we also released a demo here on Steam in October, which lets you try out Causal Loop's puzzle mechanics around the echoes:
And the excitement continues in 2026. Causal Loop will be part of Steam Next Fest, and we still owe you a release date. So stay tuned! The entire team at Mirebound Interactive wishes you all a relaxing and happy holiday season and a happy New Year.
